Rise Up…

A song that not many have perhaps heard just yet by Sheryl Crow off her new album Detours (ltd edition of course why who knows).  This song has gotten me through some turbulent days recently, I sit and close my eyes and allow her voice, the music and the meaning to flow through my body and feel at peace.  For me it is beautiful, perhaps you will feel the same way.

I heard this song during my recent trip through the States and it struck a cord, filled me with an inner fight and resolve to fight for another day, always.  Perhaps it will do the same for you… I love it and woke up this morning with it in my head! (no shock I know shush)

Soak up the sun while it’s around

Winter is finally here and it hasn’t stopped raining in days, the grass is growing at a ridiculous rate with the purest of colours, flowers are going nuts and the bees are finally sleeping.  This song is filled with symbolic imagery, close to my life and close to my heart.
