When I’m sad she comes to me…

Well, she’s walking through the clouds
with a circus mind
that’s running wild
Butterflies and zebras and moonbeams
and fairy tales,

That’s all she ever thinks about…

Riding the wind

When I’m sad she comes to me
with a thousand smiles
she gives to me free

It’s alright, she says,
It’s alright
Take anything you want from me,

Fly on, little wing

  1. lol Hendrix was big here dahlink remember back in those days we were a third world country without internet, many bands were banned… even the movie black beauty – now I trawl the internet for new and old music that inspires me and/or touches my soul because we still only hear about the new stuff months after they hit overseas… sad but true.

Kansas I am absorbing, glad I was introduced to them! Any others that you can recommend?

  2. I don’t think I know this tune, but the lyrics are just beautiful. I think when we “discover” music long after it has been the trend, maybe it gives us fresh eyes to appreciate??? Enjoy, friend….. V.

  3. Couldn’t agree more, the most amazing thing for me is the fact that there is just so much music out there yet to be discovered and each time it is like a beautiful new flower in my ever growing collection slotting into my life as if it was always there. Do you know a band called Kansas? Just getting to know them now and am impressed 😀

  4. “Dust in the Wind”, one of my favorite tunes of all time that they did. I think they still tour around the US….
I, also, am so compelled to listen, find out about, and discover new music. I absolutely need music, many different types, in all aspects of my life. I am excited to be FINALLY purchasing my very first Ipod soon; don’t care about the video stuff on it, just want a ton of songs!!!! V.

  5. lol lucky woman! I dream of an ipod the cost of them out here is just plain ridiculous and to get it imported is even worse 😀 Right I am turning emerald green with well hmmm jealousy!

    Music is life 😀
