  1. I especially like “An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind” How true!

Its so you to have more Pooh and Dr. Seuss than any others… Wisdom does indeed come from the strangest of places.

  3. Oh, wows! This is a perfect way to end my crazy bloggin’ day. So much swirling around in my head for tomorrow and beyond. It takes time and effort to transcribe these quotes. I appreciate that so much.
    Now, goodnight from Massachusetts.

  4. Good ones SF. Most I have never heard before. Very, very enlightning. I didn’t know Dr. Seuss and Winnie the Pooh were such wise ones! Super post. Thanks. Peace, Light and Love, CordieB.

  5. The full Joan of Arc quote is actually:
“I do not fear the soldiers, for my road is made open to me; and if the soldiers come, I have God, my Lord, who will know how to clear the route that leads to messire the Dauphin. It was for this that I was born!”

Some of Joan of Arc’s other quotes are just as inspiring and full of great wisdom. You can find a whole list of her quotes at: Joan of Arc Quotes

  6. Pat, oh wows to the oh wows! Glad you enjoyed (and sweet dreams)!

Cordie, Dr Seuss and Pooh bear are two of the wisest animals on earth apart of course from Wise Owl who teaches Grasshopper 😀 Glad you enjoyed!

Joan of Arc, thank you 🙂

  7. Hmmm I sense I have another Pooh bear fan in my midst! 🙂 Mainly from the Winnie the Pooh book of wisdom and the Tao of Pooh but the earlier stuff as well, its not for kids just like Shrek isn’t!

  8. Yes, I have known for years the wisdom in Dr. Seuss; have you read “Hooray for Diffendoofer Day”? It is one of the best written with his ideas…posthumously but delightful nonetheless! And, Pooh goes without saying………. he always has something significant to say!
